FED “Red Flag”

A very rare FED Ie “Red Flag” from 1948, made in a small batch of around 1800 cameras only (serial number range 200000-201800), besides the special engraving the camera shows some other unique features, like finer knurling on the knobs, brass shutter cage (like on the TSVVS) or very distinctive “Vulkanite” pattern, body in very good cosmetic condition (small piece of the “Vulkanite” missing), including a matching Fed 3.5/50mm (stamped near the mount with '48'), Bakelite lens cap.

Some parts made for the “Red Flag” camera — like the brass shutter cage — can be found inside later FED (202XXX) cameras.
