FED-S “Komandirskie” 2/50mm

Wartime (WWII) FED-S Komandirskie 1d “NKVD-USSR Kharkovski Kombinat” (ФЭД-С командирский) 35mm rangefinder film camera with shutter speeds up to 1/1000 and factory-uncoated FED 50mm ƒ/2 lens that developed a natural optical coating—blooming—a rainbow-like iridescent oxidation, over the course of 80 years.

This particular camera is from the last batches to be made in Kharkov, right before the German forces destroyed the FED factory and the following evacuation to Berdsk in Siberia.
