GOI Leningrad 2.9/38-78mm Soviet space prototype M42 is a previously unknown prototype lens developed for the Soviet space program.
This unique lens has a zoom function from 38mm to 78mm with fast constant aperture of f:2.9, it also features internal focusing.
The generous focusing lever is located on the front of the lens to allow easier operation with spacesuit gloves.
It is one of the most advanced Soviet optical constructions and one of the rarest lenses existing.
