Leica II Mod. D black “Airship Service”

The only known Leica camera with inscription “LUFTSCHIFF DIENST No 012” at the rear of the camera's body vulcanite cover, used in German Zeppelin airships, matching Elmar ƒ3,5/5cm no.212718 (cap), with a very special heavy brass container for camera with lens engraved “E.Leitz Wetzlar No.97992 LUFTSCHIFF DIENST No 012”, the outfit is illustraded and described in Classic Camera 14, frontpage + page 6/7.
