Leica KS-4 military prototype, 1976

Lager describes this unique camera as a unusual M Leica with M4-2 top cover, early m3 body housing (double stroke), modified rewind and advance assemblies, old shutter speed sequence, pre-M4 synch. outlets, hot shoe, no rangefinder, but 50, 90 and 135 framelines of M3 viewfinder visible at once. Engraved 'SP.50-90-135 1443177' on top plate, 'KS-4' on front, '5' on black paint back door, also the base plate, rewind knob, speed dial, lever are black paint.
