Leitz Minolta CL “Snapshot” prototype
1970s
Previously unknown prototype of a Leica (Leitz Minolta) CL 35mm film camera without built-in optical finder or rangefinder, a heavily modified body, with a flash shoe centered over the lens mount – simplifying parallax estimation, most probably designed for “snapshot” photography, including a M-Rokkor 2.8/28mm no.1016620 (front lettering blackened, incl. hood) and a 28mm finder 12007.
