Nikon CRT-Nikkor Auto 1.0/58mm Fast Nikon F SLR lens 1970s front rim detail view

The fastest and probably rarest SLR lens for Nikon F mount ever made by Nikon!

The Nikon F CRT-Nikkor 58mm ƒ1.0 was designed for use with an oscilloscope. “CRT” is the abbreviation for “Cathode Ray Tube”. Produced in early to mid 1970's.

The lens was designed (red engraved “M = 1/4”) for rays of 404.7 µm (h–line) wavelength. It is extremely rare and almost unknown – only three examples appeared on the collectors market in the last 15 years!
