Leica IIId

1944

Leica IIId camera, 1944

During the hectic war years, only 427 units of the Leica IIId were produced. It is the first Leica model with built-in self-timer, a technical feature which would later become a standard for many Leica models to follow. The offered camera is from the first series, the 124th Leica produced with a die-cast shutter crate. It was delivered to Switzerland on September 9, 1944.
