Leica 250 GG Reporter
1941
The Leica 250 or Reporter was introduced in 1934, bearing serial numbers from 130001 (1934) to 359916 (1953); total production is less than one thousand cameras. The unusually shaped Leica produced 250 photographs on 33 feet of film in special cassettes. The characteristic of the 250 are the enlarged film chambers at each end of the camera.
Two variations were available: the first version (FF model) had a top speed of 1/500 second, the second version (GG model) a top speed of 1/1000 second. The Leica Reporter is highly valued by collectors.
