Leica I Mod. A black “Luxus”

Extremely rare, early type Leica I “Luxus” with black reptile leather body cover, though the camera is not listed as a special model in the Leica delivery books, many cameras with close serial numbers are listed as “Luxus” Leicas (e.g. nos. 34803-34818), also the lizard covering is very similar to the other known examples (verified by Ottmar Michaely) - the camera was incidentally discovered in a garage sale a few years ago!
