Zenit 3M 35mm film SLR camera 1963

Zenit 3M 35mm film SLR camera with M39 threaded mount and Industar - 50 3,5/50 manual focus lens.

The shutter release button is in the ring of the film advance lever, while the button by the shutter speed dial is the rewind release. Shutter speeds: 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500, and B.

The flash synchronization delay is adjustable with a selector under the shutter speed dial, marked for X- and M-synchronisation. Flash is connected via a PC socket on the front of the top housing.

The frame counter is situated around the advance lever rin. Like earlier Zenit models, the mirror does not return instantly after taking the shot, so the viewfinder blacks out upon releasing the shutter – the mirror is reset when the film is advanced.
