Agfa Automatic 66
1956
Agfa Automatic 66 rangefinder-coupled medium format film camera for 6x6cm exposures on 120 film – the first medium format camera to incorporate an automatic aperture priority auto-exposure system by an ingenious part-electrical and part-pneumatic mechanism, based on a selenium light meter.
The lens is a unit focusing, multicoated 75 mm f/3.5 Agfa Color-Solinar, which is a color-corrected version of Agfa's Tessar lens. The shutter is a Prontor SVA and gives manually-set speeds from 1 to 1/300 second, plus 'B' and the automatic 'A' setting.
